  • Our life skills sessions are delivered through a bespoke, young person led approach that focuses on practical learning, real world experiences, and meaningful engagement. Each session is planned around the individual needs, interests, and readiness of the young person, ensuring that sessions feel relevant and achievable

Life skills are taught through hands on activities such as budgeting, travel training, communication skills, problem solving, self care, and community based tasks. Skills are developed in supportive, low pressure environments that allow young people to practice, reflect, and grow at their own pace.

Life skills sessions are designed not only to build independence but also to help young people make positive choices, improve engagement, and prepare for future opportunities within education, training, or daily life.

  • Our mentoring sessions provide one to one support, giving young people a trusted adult to guide them through life events both in and outside of school. Mentors act as a voice for the young person, helping them set goals, make positive choices, and build confidence, resilience, and independence through consistent support.

  • Our emotional wellbeing sessions are supportive and help young people develop self awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience. Guided by a mentor, sessions use discussion, activities, and reflective exercises to build confidence, coping skills, and positive choices in a safe, nurturing environment.

Our sessions are designed for those who need support with confidence, emotional regulation, motivation, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, anxiety based school avoidance or re-engagement into learning and life skills.

Mentors work alongside young people throughout the session, offering 1:1 support, coaching, and positive reinforcement. This relationship based approach helps young people build confidence, emotional regulation, and independence. Progress is reviewed regularly, with achievements celebrated.

  • Our outdoor activities and sports sessions are engaging and promote teamwork, confidence, and physical wellbeing. Young people can access sport venues, gyms and outdoor activities catered to their interests. Walking is promoted within all sessions to help young people access fresh air and increase movement, allowing mental health to benefit.

  • Our creative and vocational sessions give young people the chance to explore their interests, develop practical skills, and discover new opportunities. Sessions can be career focused or designed to provide experiences they might not usually access, broadening horizons and building confidence.
